Robbett is Managing Partner of Robbett Law Group, PLLC, a Washington, D.C. based law firm with a national practice concentrating on advising tax-exempt and for-profit employers of all sizes in the design and operation of retirement plans and deferred compensation programs.<\/p>\n<p>An area of specialized concentration in Ken\u2019s practice is tax-exempt organization 457 plans, which are the deferred compensation plans established by trade associations and other nonprofit organizations for the benefit of their executive personnel. He and his firm have developed a unique system for the design, implementation and ongoing compliance and administration of 457(b) and 457(f) plans for tax-exempt organizations and their executives.<\/p>\n<p>Ken has served as an Adjunct Professor at Catholic University School of Law, where he taught ERISA Tax Policy.\u00a0 He has been a frequent lecturer and panelist at educational programs dealing with employee benefits and executive compensation law, and has authored numerous articles addressing employee benefits and executive compensation issues, and is the principal author of a leading American Bar Association study on the status of the law governing deferred compensation plans.<\/p>\n<p>Ken is a past National President of the Worldwide Employee Benefits Network (\u201cWEB\u201d), a national association of nearly 2,000 benefits professionals, and is also a past President of WEB\u2019s Washington, D.C. chapter.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em> and <em>CNN Financial News<\/em> have reported his views on employee benefits law.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to entering private practice over twenty-five years ago, Ken spent five years as an attorney in the Internal Revenue Service\u2019s national office responsible for the regulation of employee benefit plans.<\/p>\n<p>Ken received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, his law degree from Fordham University Law School, and his LL.M. in Tax Law from the Georgetown University School of Law.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to concentrating his practice exclusively in the areas in executive compensation and employee benefits, Ken simultaneously maintained an active commercial real estate law practice.<\/p>\n<p>Ken is a volunteer in various community and school organizations. Among these, he actively serves the youth baseball community in the Washington, D.C. area as a member of the Board of Directors and as Director of Youth Clinics for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcgrays.com\">D.C.
